Last Friday, I rode to the Turtle Pond area to watch a Great Blue Heron and in comes this Green Heron making quite a racket.

When I was returning home, I saw this juvenile Green Heron just standing in the water and looking up.

I looked up to see if there was a hawk, etc. Nothing.

Then, to my surprise he catches a Blue Dasher Dragonfly! I never knew these Herons could do this!

I love learning something new when I go out on my bike rides!
