How to Help
We invite you to join with us in protecting the priceless asset represented by the American River and the American River Parkway. SARA depends on our members and friends for the financial and human resources needed to carry on our mission. You will receive our newsletter Riverwatch and be placed on our safety alert list which provides information about events on the Parkway. You can really help SARA by keeping your email information and mailing address up to date.
Send an email with the pertinent information.

of the Parkway in his/her lifetime. All donations will be
acknowledged, and gifts will be announced with a special card from Save
the American River Association. Please include your name and

proper acknowledgment can be made to the honoree’s family.
Large
numbers of the Parkway community have contributed substantial time and
effort in opposing inappropriate development within the viewshed of the
Parkway. It is the community’s strong support that
allows
SARA to continue its 40+ years of work to protect and defend the lower
American River and Parkway. As always, your participation is
vital and your generosity is greatly appreciated.
